ત્રણ પેઢી, એક નદી
From a single chulha in rural Saurashtra to Surat's most beloved riverside courtyard — the recipes, the rhythm and the warmth haven't changed.

Pravah Riverside — “pravah”, the flowing current — was born in 1994 from a single chulha and a grandmother's recipes from rural Saurashtra.
What began as a humble open-air kitchen on the Tapi has grown into Surat's most beloved Kathiyawadi destination — without ever losing the village soul that built it.
We still grind our spices each morning. We still hand-churn the buttermilk. We still cook every dal over a wood fire. The river still flows past the same window.
Recipes preserved unchanged from our family kitchen in Rajkot.
Atithi devo bhava — the guest is god, served with two hands.
Daily produce from farms within 50km of the Tapi riverbank.

"When the river flows past your kitchen, it teaches you patience. That patience is the only secret of our food."
